Love can happen anytime, anywhere with anyone. And in this series, the main protagonist is in love with their “Kaamwali” or maid. He is head over heels in love with her and mops around the house every day waiting for her to come to work and daydreams more about her when she’s working. His mother on the other hand has issues with her because she takes too many leaves like every maid in the Indian middle-class family. But as it turns out, the maid has many suitors who are in love with her and our protagonist finds out a rather heartbreaking discovery in the end. HoneyMoon
Every parent wants their sons and daughters to marry a sanskari and there is nothing wrong with that but if they bring their sanskari to the honeymoon, we can imagine that it is going to be interesting. Not for the couple but for the viewers. It is a very funny and light series, one which you can finish in one sitting and smile later thinking about how cute and relatable the couple is. The title of this series is not at all related to the content of the series and after watching the final episode only then you will realize why the title is “Bharwali Aur Gharwali.” The series is about love, commitment, infidelity, friendship, and revenge among many other things. But I tell you, the series is so much more than the twist in the title and it has an amazing story and super entertaining too.
